Weight: 150 lbs
The Bad News:
Today I went shopping with my mum and was in the process of trying on a lovely silkly FCUK halter neck playsuit when I realised the zipper was stuck, again. Now this playsuit was a uk size 14... and that's a whole size up from what I was last month- 12, anyway.
I couldn't beleive it. a 16. I've been a size 12 for years.
What's happening to me??? :(
It's not that a 16 is huge or anything. But my god does it look huge on my frame. I'm 5ft5 with no boobs big shoulders and hips. And, at the moment, a preggers tummy and thighs that chafe a wee bit! I look awful. Bloated, disproportioned, lumpy and a bit ridculous. Please let the diet kick in soon!
The Good News:
Been doing loads of research for my diet and hopefully will be able to shed the first 20 lbs within two months. Been doing these exercise classes twice a week, Arms, Legs, Bums and Tums and Yogalates. They're a bit of a laugh but also pretty painful on the muscles. Toning is important if I'm gonna lose lots, don't want to be a saggy bag of skin! Cardio is equally important of course and the cross-trainer remains my favourite gym buddy. That thing burns calories faster then I can eat them (an exaggeration of course, you've never seen me with pasta)
I'm also getting quite excited about green tea. Sad, and rather cliche I'm aware, but this stuff seems to have serious health benefits and I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Obv I'm loving all the anti-oxidents but lets just stop a sec to think about the water. I never drink enough of it! And although they say now that the "8 glasses a day" mantra is just a myth and you should only drink when thirsty I still don't manage to hydrate myself enough even by these standards. So tea makes sense- I love tea! And hopefully It'll fill me up too! :)
Motivating Thought:
I'll never be as big as I am today, every day I get closer to my target.
